Good Friday Poem

April 11, 2009 at 4:57 am

In honor of Poetry month, Jason, my 10-year-old son, and I wrote a poem about Good Friday.

His Love
I don’t have to go to school today,
Because it’s a religious holiday.

On Good Friday Jesus died on the cross,
For us and the Lord, it was a huge loss.

But three days later, He rose from the dead,
Now we believe His love and truth will spread.
